Printable Versions of the Selected Yokel Song Collections

I want to have eleven (well, thirteen--no, fourteen) more-concise representations of the complete Yokel collections. The lengths will be from 24 to 36 pages (well, 20 to 52, I guess), so they'll be cheaper to print. They need to be almost perfect editorially.

Selected Trans Yokel Songs and Selected Pretty Yokel Songs are on the long side--thirty-six or 40 pages. But now I've made separate End Times volumes of from each, rescuing many songs that had been excluded. The Yokel's End Times Footsie Drag is 52 pages long.

I would like to be able to print five or ten copies of each and give them away.

They should have a less-than-ten-dollar unit cost.

The collections are designed to be read from beginning to end. The reader should be able to get through one of them in less than an hour. They are arranged/not arranged consecutively by composition date. So, each song is a record of things that happened in the world with regard to one of the themes-chakras (Doomed, Woke, Pretty, Trans, Elegiac, etc.) from 2017 to September 2023 when I stopped writing them.

It's so much fun for me to review the selections, each time making changes!

Doomed Yokel  - About American politics from 2017 to the present End Times, which started January 6 2020. Poems about COVID have been extracted into a short collection.

The Yokel is COVID Times - Doomed Yokel Songs that deal with the 2020 COVID pandemic.

Woke Yokel - Contains poems referring to American racism. The spring 2020 poems describe the period of the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. "Woke" is the authoritarians' favorite derision word. 

Bardic Yokel - About the Yokel's addiction to "poetry" and their inability-refusal to identify with shamanistic poets. The first poem, "Well, Well, Well," (I'm the feet poet) appears in the 2017 collection, Dewey Agonistes, and was the first Yokel Song to be written.

Vulnerable Yokel - Mostly about two sad friendships, both of which ended badly.

Pretty Yoke-  The auto-erotic basis of the Yokel songs. Extracted The Yokel's End Times Footsie Drag as a separate 52-page book. 

The Yokel’s End Times Footsie Drag - Contains the poems marked green-heron-green that were written after January 6 2020.  Fifty-two pages. They are the most erotic (auto-erotic) of all my works. 

Trans Yokel - The Yokel becomes Calarel the Fairy-Elf. "Trans" is a very problematic word for the regime. Extracted Gender Transformation in the End Times as a separate 28-page book.

Gender Transformation in the End Times - Contains all but two of the poems marked heart-green that were written after January 6 2020. Twenty-eight pages.

Yokel Comedian - Funny poems. Contains many poems about philosophy. 

Devout Yokel - Contains poems about religion. The 2020 section is more or less about the 2020 presidential election. I considered expanding the 24-page selected version, but I decided I liked the short version and that the complete Devout Yokel collection, which is almost twice as long, can stand on its own. 

Elegiac Yokel - Contains elegies for friends and for my punk-rock career. It has a poem about the formative LSD experience of my second college year. I worked a lot on the first poem, which is a kind of l elegy for the whole Yokel project. 

Splendid Yokel - The crowning collection. These are poems that seemed especially inspirational to me.

Loving Yokel - Contains poems about a childhood crushes and about relationship with a friend to who I owe much of my Yokel energy. I've worked on this collection until now it hardly seems indiscreet to me.
